THE BIRDING CLUB AT CORNELL
Welcome to the Birding Club at Cornell, a student-run club open to students of all skill levels, offering free trips and events throughout the academic year. Join us as we explore and appreciate the birds of Cornell campus, Tompkins County, the Northeast, and beyond. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced birder, an artist or a biker, there's something for you at the club.

The birding club’s foremost commitment is to make birding accessible to everyone. In order to make birding free of charge and stress for anyone who loves birds we require zero membership fees, zero trip fees, free equipment use, and no membership requirements.

However, we’re struggling to run the club with an exponentially increasing number of active numbers but no increase in our annual allocation from the university. Hundreds of people have had their first look through a spotting scope in this club, and replacing the broken birding club scope with a new scope with a lifetime warranty is a foremost priority that would be a permanent asset for the club.

A donation of any size is greatly appreciated!! Even $5 or $10 dollars gets us closer to a scope purchase or allows us to send one more person on a birding adventure. This is the only day of the year we can collect donations, so we need to make it count!
